Main directions of activity: scientific and technical and normative-methodical ensuring of production processes of solid fuel reprocessing; complex study of processes of hard fuel reprocessing, quality of coal products, granting of it market and customer value, expansion of resource base of fuel for heat power engineering and raw material for coking and other technological productions; creation of new and perfection of operating coal beneficiation equipment; design and introduction of progressive technologies of coal beneficiation and processing with the maximal extraction of fuel mass; searching of additional fuel and energy resources; granting of scientific and technical services on increasing technical level of operating coal preparation plants; sewage water treatment and smoke gas cleaning appeared in the process of coal beneficiation; creation of facilities of mechanization and automation of testing and control of coal quality; development of methods of increasing wearproofness of concentrating equipment and its corrosion protection.
