Poltava Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Poltava CCI - constituent part of the system of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI), was founded in 1973 on the basis of a branch of All-Union Chamber of Commerce which had been functioning in Ukraine since 1944. Today UCCI is a non-state and self-governing organization which consolidates about 2500 members on voluntary principles. Among them there are industrial enterprises of different forms of property, research institutions, banks, trade companies, private firms, the largest associations of businessmen of Ukraine.

Poltava Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a regional organization of Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry . It was created on 6th April, 1995 on the basis of self-financing production company "Poltavavneshservice" of CCI of Ukraine in accordance with the Decree №375/94 of 04.01.1994 of the president of Ukraine.

At present, activity of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Ukraine is regulated by the Law of Ukraine dated of December, 2, 1997 "On Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Ukraine" and Resolution of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated of April, 1, 1999 "On supporting of activity of Chambers of Commerce and Industry".

Poltava CCI consolidates 129 real members of Chamber; at the same time they are the members of Ukrainian CCI.

Main aim of the Chamber is to represent the interests of its members in state institutions of Ukraine and also in the international organizations, to provide development of foreign economic relations of Ukrainian businessmen.

Range of action of Poltava CCI is wide and directed at satisfaction of the needs of the Chamber members', other clients' as well as their foreign partners.

Poltava CCI has its own branches in Kremenchuk and Lubny.

Ukrainian CCI as a head organization works in contact with associations of producers and businessmen of Ukraine.

It maintains business relations on agreed terms with its colleagues in more than 50 countries in the world.

Poltava CCI as a regional organization of Ukrainian CCI maintains direct business relations with 15 Chambers of Commerce and Industry of other countries, takes part in activity of Business Relations Center on TACIS program to render special information and consulting services to the enterprises .

Poltava CCI issues the magazine "Directors' Post".
