LLC “Steatyt”, from the day it was established, has been orientated towards production of a wide range of components made of engineering ceramics and aluminum-oxide-base ceramics (steatite class). There is a great stock of special production equipment, powerful energy-generating facilities (every workshop has its own powerful electrical substation). The enterprise has installed gas supply. There are special stations that produce compressed highly-purified nitrogen and hydrogen, refrigerating and compressor stations. Our shop producing machining riggins (press tools, moulds, etc.) is supplied with all necessary equipment. The enterprise has its own raw material base (quarry) where porcelain stone (kaoline material) is extracted for production of high-quality porcelain and earthenware articles. Production floor-area makes up 20 000 m2. The enterprise used to manufacture such finished standard articles as electric sockets, lamp holders and, partially, lamps.
