Balcem, Private Joint-Stock Company

"Balcem" Open Joint-Stock Company is a largest multi-discipline enterprises manufacturing building materials in Ukraine.

Company has production capacities to manufacture:
- 3,172 thousand tonnes of clinker;
- 4,026 thousand tonnes of cement;
- 300 million asbestos-cement plates;
- 1,200 km asbestos-cement pipes;
- 200,000 m3 haydite gravel

The Company gets raw materials and fuel from Shebelinka deposit located in Ukraine. At the same time it is also the source of raw materials for chock and clay production, being just 9 km away from the enterprise.

"Balcem" has its own gas pipeline with a total length of 14.3 km to satisfy the needs of the enterprise in natural and gets electricity from the Zmiyiv State-Owned Power Plant located in the Kharkiv Region.

The wide range of products manufactured let the company co-operate practically with all construction companies.

In the Ukrainian market, the cement consumers are enterprises operating in the Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy Regions of Ukraine.
Company's cement, for example, was used to reconstruct the runaway at the Boryspil Airport and to build the subway system and the Baykonur cosmodrome.
We also supply our products to the CIS countries, Western Europe and Africa.

Ready-made products are shipped from the railway station of Shebelinka located on the Kharkiv-Rostov Railroad.
