State Scientific-Research Control Institute of Veterinary Medicinal Products and Feed Additives is one of main scientific institutions of Ukraine and CIS in the sphere of development, improvement and standardization of control methods of veterinary medicinal products, fodders and feed additives.

Main types of activity: carrying out researches on development, perfection and standardization of animal protection facilities and methods of their control, realization of state control by quality of immunological, biological, vegetable, chemical veterinary preparations, fodder additives, vitamins, devices, instruments used in veterinary medicine and stock-raising, depositing of cultures of microorganism stamps, storage of standards. Thus the main criteria of scientific researches of the Institute are directed on revival and creation of home production of effective facilities of animal protection in Ukraine, fodders, fodder additives and premixes from domestic raw material, and also providing production quality of stock-raising through determination of remaining amounts of operating substances of facilities of animal protection facilities.
