Uman State Pedagogical University which is already over 70-year-old incorporates seven faculties:
- pedagogy,
- physics and engineering,
- natural sciences,
- philology,
- economics and preschool education.

25 departments train young specialists, and more than five thousand students from different Ukrainian oblasts study on daytime and correspondence bases.
The University’s teaching staff consists of 214 qualified specialists.
There are 28 doctors of science and professors, and 118 candidates of sciences and assistant professors among those working on a full-time basis.
