Institute of Agriculture of the Ukrainian Academy of Agrarian Sciences

Main directions of scientific activity of the Institute are follows as development of theoretical and practical bases of the ground protection water-guarding systems of agriculture on the basis of stabilizing of land-tenure, optimization of structure of sowing wedge in accordance with the state of affairs of internal and foreign markets; development of intensive, ecologically friendly technologies of growing of competitive products of plant growing on the basis of agrobiological expedience of placing of agricultural crops, increase of recoupment of energy resources and FAR use; improvement of methods of selection, creation of highly productive, proof to illnesses and wreckers and unfavourable factors of environment breeds and hybrids of 23 field and fodder crops, long-term cereals herbages.

There are graduate school, doctorate and special council for defence of doctoral and candidate's thesis by four specialities in the Institute.
