In 1991 Cargill began joint venture with Corn Research Institute in Dnipropetrovsk. Sales of hybrid sunflower and corn seeds began.

1993 - Office in Kyiv opened. Soursing and export of grain and other commodity materials, and food product sales are coordinated
here.

1995 - Sunflower Seed Conditioning plant built. Fertilizer warehousing and distribution in operation. Oilseed crushing financed to supply vegetable oil demand.

1997 - Office in Donetsk opened.
